There are a lot of solid teams that are underrated in the top 25. I’m going to give you the best long shot to win the Big Dance in March.  SMU is paying out 100-1 to win it all and with their team and Hall of fame coach Larry Brown they have a shot.

SMU is 22-6 this season and really sport some gritty experienced players on the team.  With two wins over UCONN and a win over highly ranked Cincinnati Bearcats this SMU Mustangs have showed they are a team to reckon with this season.

SMU has made only one final four in its history but I have them doing it this season.  SMU plays a team game and are an experienced squad they spread their scoring around and know how to win with Head Coach Larry Brown’s vast knowledge of the game.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, SMU is currently 100/1 long shots to win the college basketball tournament, but that makes them a great value play at the moment.
