Updated Presidents Cup Odds
DUBLIN, OH (TheSpread) – The 2013 Presidents Cup got a good portion of golf in on Saturday, but is still running behind schedule entering the scheduled final day. Here’s an updated look at the odds to win.
Despite some rain delays on Saturday, the teams were able to conclude the Friday foursomes and Saturday four-ball matches. Play was stopped with just one Saturday foursomes match completed. Four matches will need to finish on Sunday morning before beginning the 12 individual matches. Despite the weather concerns, the United States had a big day on Saturday, taking a commanding 11.5-6.5 lead on the International team.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, the United States is even more of a favorite to win this event, as they now have odds of -1600 to prevail, while the International team has a money line of +800. A tie has odds of +2000 to take place.
The Friday foursomes matches concluded on Saturday morning with the U.S. holding a 6.5-5.5 lead when the teams each won three of the six matches. In the Saturday four-ball matches, the U.S. won four of the five to take a commanding lead and it added another point by winning the lone foursomes match that concluded on Saturday night.
The Presidents Cup continues on Sunday with the conclusion of the foursomes matches. The day is schedule to have 12 individual matches take place as well. The event is scheduled to conclude on Sunday from Muirfield Village Golf Course in Dublin, Ohio. For updated odds to win, see below.
