Haas won the Tour Championship in a playoff with Hunter Mahan, as both finished the tournament at 8-under par. Haas shot a 2-under 68 on Sunday to get into the playoff.

Haas’ win, combined with an 22nd-place finish from Webb Simpson, allowed Haas to win the 2011 FedExCup by just 15 points over Simpson. Haas was in 25th place entering the event, but the win bonus pushed him to the $10 million top prize.

Haas had 30/1 odds to win the FedEx Cup coming into the playoffs, meaning a $100 wager on him will pay out an additional $3,000. Haas also had 40/1 odds to win the Tour Championship, so a $100 wager on him for the event will pay out an additional $4,000.
