Haas wins AT&T National
BETHESDA, Maryland (TheSpread) – Bill Haas was clearly the best golfer this weekend at the AT&T National, winning the event by three strokes.
Haas showed some impressive work on Saturday, birding nine holes en route to a 68. On Sunday, he improved on that score, shooting a 5-under 66 to finish the tournament at 12-under par, three shots ahead of Roberto Castro.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Haas had 40/1 odds to win this event, which means a wager of $100 on Haas to win will pay out an additional $4,000.
Castro shot a 2-under 69 on Sunday to finish at -9 overall, one shot ahead of D.H. Lee and Jason Kokrak for second place.
