Weekley wins Crowne Plaza Invite

FORT WORTH, TX (TheSpread) – Boo Weekley got hot at the right time, as his final round 66 led him to a win in the 2013 Crowne Plaza Invitational on Sunday.

Weekley posted his second-straight 66 for the weekend on Sunday, which allowed him to finish the tournament -14 overall, one shot ahead of Matt Kuchar, who finished at -13 after shooting a 68 on Sunday.

According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Weekley had 90/1 odds to win this event coming into the week, which means a wager of $100 on him to prevail will pay out an additional $9,000.

Zach Johnson found himself in third place for the tournament at -12 overall, while three other golfers finished in fourth at -11 overall.
