HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (TheSpread) – A number of the top golfers in the world will compete in the 2011 Heritage Golf Tournament, which is the next stop on the PGA Tour.

European star Luke Donald is the favorite to win according to online sportsbook SBGGLOBAL.com as he has 9/1 odds to win. Other short odds to win are Jim Furyk (16/1) and Matt Kuchar (16/1).

Donald is the top-ranked player in the field, as he currently sits third in the world. Donald has placed in the top 10 in 9 of his last 10 tournaments. Donald took third in this tournament a year ago.

Furyk is the defending champion of the tournament. He is currently ranked 13th in the world. Furyk has placed in the top 25 of his last three tournaments, but he has just two top 10’s on the year with two missed cuts.

Kuchar is ranked 10th in the world. He finished 14th in this event a year ago and he has six top 10’s this year in nine tournaments played. He has yet to miss a cut during the 2011 season.
