PGA Phoenix Open Odds
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (TheSpread) – Tiger Woods makes his first PGA appearance of the year this week as he competes in the Waste Management Phoenix Open.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Bubba Watson and Jordan Spieth are the favorites to win the event, as each has 12/1 odds. Woods currently is listed with 20/1 odds, joining the likes of Matt Kuchar and Rickie Fowler. This event will be held Jan. 29-Feb. 1 at TPC Scottsdale-Stadium Course.
Watson is fourth in the world rankings, best of any golfer in the field. He is coming off a 10th-place finish a few weeks back in his first event of 2015. He finished second in this event a year ago.
Spieth is ninth in the world rankings. He has yet to compete in a tournament this year, but won the last two events he played in in 2014. Spieth didn’t compete in this tournament last year.
Woods is now 47th in the world rankings right now. He is making his first appearance since the Hero World Challenge, an event he hosts, where he finished tied for last. Woods didn’t have a single top 10 in all of 2013 as he battled a back injury.
