2015 NBA Finals Odds To Win: Miami Heat Open as the Favorites
By Drew Sharper

(TheSpread) – The NBA Finals ended on Sunday night. The focus now turns to next season and who will come out on top in 2015.

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Miami Heat are favored to regain the title, as they have 3/1 odds. The other short odds to win are the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs, who each have 6/1 odds.

The Heat reached the NBA Finals for the fourth straight season this year, but they we thoroughly outclassed by the Spurs. The Heat looked old and thin, relying heavily on their superstar in LeBron James. If the Heat hope to get back to the title, they will need to add talent and avoid the possible departure of James.

The Thunder lost to the Spurs in the Western Conference Finals and they also need to address some depth issues they have. They also have questions on whether Scott Brooks can get the job done as the head coach. The Thunder relied on their offense in the playoffs, which let them down in key games.

The Spurs won the NBA title with an impressive showing in the NBA Finals. The question now is who comes back. Will Tim Duncan retire? Will Gregg Popovich be back? San Antonio had some future stars emerge in the postseason, like Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard, but the team still need that body in the middle that they had in Duncan.
