Tonight is the 2nd and final meeting between these clubs tonight. The Lakers won at LA (104-88) as 6 pt favs, back on Jan. 15th. The Lakers are playing their 3rd road game in 4 days tonight, and tonight is their 3rd game of their 4 game roadie. LA snapped their 3 game losing streak last night AT Minnesota (120-117) as 4.5 pt road chalk. Lakers sit just 1 game ahead of the Jazz for that final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Bucks return home from a quick 1 game roadie at the 76ers last night. Milwaukee dropped their 4th straight game last night to Philly (100-92) and they are all but locked into that #8 seed in the Eastern Conference, and that equates to a definite quick 1st round exit to the Miami Heat. Both of these teams have struggled when playing on ZERO days rest. The Lakers are (3-7 ATS L/10) and the Bucks are (2-6 ATS L/8) on zero days rest. The Lakers have struggled on the ROAD vs winning clubs....as they are (1-4 ATS L/5) ROAD games vs teams with a winning home record. The OVER is (7-2-1 ATS L/10) Milwaukee HOME games vs teams with a losing road record. The Lakers have been ROAD FAVS of -2 to -4 twelve times this season (5-7 ATS). The Bucks have been HOME DOGS of +4 or less three times this season (0-3 SU & ATS). I look for a very fast paced game here, and especially with both clubs on a back to back here. The Lakers are getting about 2/3rd's of the wagers early on here, and the total is about split "ticket count wise" early on, with a slight move up 1 point from the opening total of 208. I have this game having at least 212 points tonight, and I am on the OVER here.

The Phoenix Suns are just 12-34 over their last 46 games, and have appeared to cash in their chips for the season. The Suns' last 13 losses have seen 10 of them come by 10 points or more. Sacramento, on the other hand, has kept battling and over their last 14 games they have been a .500 team, including a 4-1 straight-up record vs. a team with a losing record. Phoenix has had trouble vs. teams that are scoring, and sit at 2-10 ATS in their last 12 vs. an opponent that scored 100+ in their previous game, and are 0-5 ATS in their last five vs. a team below .400. Make the play on Sacramento.

Ottawa Senators -102FOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM

The Rangers are 16-13-3 on the season and just 6-7-1 on the road.  The Senators are 18-9-6 on the year and a solid 12-2-3 on their home ice.  New York is coming off a 5-2 in Philadelphia, but they've won just 3 of their last 8 games overall.  The Senators are winners of two straight, including a 3-2 shootout win vs New Jersey on Monday night.  They've also won 5 of their last 6 games overall.  Ottawa has enjoyed 3 straight home games.  These two teams have met twice so far this season after meeting in the postseason last year.  The Senators won the first meeting 3-2 at home in a shootout, and then went into New York to win again 3-2.  Ottawa has won 8 of their last 10 home games, and they are 7-3 in their last 10 games following a win.  The Rangers are just 1-4 in their last 5 vs a team with a winning record.   Ottawa has been a very tough team to beat when they're playing at home, and with the Rangers under .500 on the road and losers of 5 of their last 8 games I'm surprised to see Ottawa as the underdogs.  I'll go with the Sens at a good price at home.

We used La Salle plus this points in their outright win over Mississippi on Sunday, but tonight is the end of the line for the Explorers in the first No. 9 seed vs. No. 13 seed match-up in tournament history. Wichita State is more experienced and plays better defense, but the biggest advantage it will have tonight is on the boards. La Salle was outrebounded in both wins last week and ranked No. 286 in the country this year in rebound margin, while Wichita State likes to crash the boards, and ranks No. 7 in the country in rebounding margin. Shockers move on to play for a spot in the Final Four.

Sacramento (26-46) comes off a 105-98 win at Golden State last night as a 9-point underdog -- and they have played 20 of their last 26 games Over the Total after a point spread victory. The Kings have also played 4 of their last 5 games Over the Total played without a day of rest. And while the Suns are 16-20 at home this season, Sacramento has played 7 of their last 10 road games Over the Total against teams with a losing record on the road. Phoenix (23-49) comes off a 103-88 loss at Utah last night as a 13.5-point underdog -- and they have then played 4 of their last 5 games Over the Total after a point spread loss. The Suns have also played 4 straight games Over the Total without a day of rest. Take the Over in this one.

Prediction: UnderFOR FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
Detroit (17-11-3-2) has won all three games so far in their west coast road trip behind some excellent defense and goaltending from Jimmy Howard. The Red Wings come off a 3-2 win at Phoenix on Monday -- they have allowed only four goals in their three games out west so far. Detroit has seen the Under go 5-2-1 in their last 8 games following a victory. The Under is also 6-1-2 in the Red Wings' last 9 games against teams with a losing overall record. The Sharks are 9-1-1-3 on their home ice this season -- and the Under is 7-2-5 in Detroit's last 14 road games against teams with a winning percentage over 60% at home. San Jose (15-11-3-3) swept their home-and-home series with Anaheim after their 4-0 win last night over the Ducks. The Under is 2-0-2 in the Sharks' last 4 games played without a day of rest. And in their last 13 games on their home ice, the game finished Under the Total 10 times for San Jose. Take the Under in this one.

Milwaukee is coming from a terrible performance last night in Philadelphia, where things got so bad early in the game that Coach Jim Boylan decided to bench Brandon Jennings, who played just 17 minutes. The truth is that during the span Jennings was on the court, the Bucks got outscored by 25 points! I believe Jennings's benching was a wake up call for the Bucks's PG and for the whole team and so, I expect Milwaukee to come fired up to play tonight. They know that the Lakers are also on a back to back spot and they tend to struggle on this kind of games, so I expect Milwaukee to try to set up the fastest pace possible in tonight's game, in order to worn out the veteran Lakers in here. The Bucks will also attempt to set up a fast tempo tonight in order to avoid a repeat of what Dwight Howard did to them early on the season in the game played these two teams in LA, where Howard dominated the Bucks with 14-18 FG, 31 points and 16 rebounds!
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
I expect the Lakers to struggle on defense today. First of all, they are on a tough spot because they are coming from a game at Minnesota last night that had a ridiculous fast pace (almost 104!) and where Coach Mike D'Antoni only used 8 players! This is especially concerning as the Lakers is a veteran team and so, more prone to struggle physically on tough spots. The Lakers's spot up defense keeps regressing and the Bucks shouldn't have problems in getting open looks tonight to torch the Lakers with treys. On the other hand, Monta Ellis should also take advantage of the slow footed Lakers's backcourt to easily execute his dribble penetrations into the basket, while Ersan Ilyasova should also have an excellent matchup against the slow Pau Gasol. The Bucks have a good ball movement on offense and therefore, they should be able to torch the Lakers's defense with their exterior shooting and with dribble penetrations as well.
FOR THE LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE SERVICE PLAYS VISIT THESPREAD.COM
On the other side, the Lakers should also have a great offensive game tonight. They won't be able to stop Milwaukee's offense tonight, so they will need to play good offense to stay competitive tonight. Kobe Bryant will have an excellent matchup on offense, as Milwaukee's perimeter defense is horrible and therefore, Kobe should have no problems in torching the Bucks tonight. The same should happen with Dwight Howard, who will have a great matchup, as Larry Sanders may be a great defender, but he lacks the size and power to counter Howard's offensive moves, as seen in the game played these two teams in LA. Therefore, I expect this game to be played at a very fast pace, with both teams playing much better offense than defense tonight. The result of that will be a super high scoring game and so, I'll be taking the Over in here.

Columbus vs. Edmonton
Pick: Edmonton

The Oilers host Columbus tonight, coming off a 3-0 shutout victory over the Blues in St. Louis on Tuesday. Coach Ralph Krueger said it was: "our most complete game of the year." "To take this game going forward with us is going to be important," He said. "We're going to work very hard at maintaining this kind of hockey."

One of the most encouraging aspects of Tuesday's game was the play of veteran netminder Nikolai Khabibulin, who stopped all 43 shots he faced recording a shutout in just his second start back from injury. The 40 year old has been far more consistent for Edmonton than Devan Dubnyk this season, even before going on the IR. Solid play between the pipes from Khabibulin might be just what Edmonton needs to make a push for the post-season.

The have enjoyed plenty of success against the Blue Jackets, especially at home. Edmonton is 17-4-1 against Columbus at home since the Jackets entered the league as an expansion team.

The Oilers are without a doubt the more talented of the two teams, and they are far better on the power-play. Edmonton ranks 5th in the league with the man-advantage while Columbus ranks 27th. If the Jackets can't stay out of the penalty box tonight, it may lead to their demise.
