NHL Odds and Betting Guide

The hottest team in the NHL tries to keep it going tonight as the Pittsburgh Penguins shoot for their 11th straight win Friday night against the Islanders. The streak has enabled them to open up a 12-point lead in the Atlantic Division. The Islanders are home dogs and have dropped their last two and are coming off a third-period meltdown against the Canadiens last night in which they allowed three goals.

Out west, the Anaheim Ducks try to continue their strong play at home against the Red Wings. The Ducks picked up the win against the Blackhawks on Wednesday and will have new $69 million dollar man Corey Perry back from suspension for the game. The Ducks, who are 7-0-3 in their last 10 games, are the clear favorite tonight.

There are two other games tonight in the NHL. The Capitals will try to make it two wins in two days in Winnipeg against the Jets after scoring a 4-0 victory last night. In Columbus, the Flames will try to cool off the Blue Jackets, who are 7-0-3 in their last 10 games.

The lines are from LVH as of about 10:30 a.m. ET.
