NHL Odds and Betting Guide - Devils host Flyers
By: The Linemakers
Sportingnews.com
The New Jersey Devils will try to get some momentum going Wednesday night as they host the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Devils are struggling to survive without future Hall-of-Fame goalie Martin Brodeur and are just 2-6-1 since Brodeur last played on February 21. The good news for the Devils is that they have already beaten the Flyers twice this season, and while both games were with Brodeur and at home, they’ll get Philadelphia at home again tonight. The Devils are 8-3-2 on home ice this year, while the Flyers are 4-10-0 on the road. New Jersey is a slight favorite tonight.
The Montreal Canadiens, currently atop the Eastern Conference standings, will try to even up their season series with the Ottawa Senators. Montreal is a large favorite tonight despite the Senators winning the last meeting in a shootout. However, both Senators wins against the Canadiens this season came in Ottawa. Overall, the Senators are just 4-7-2 on the road, while the Canadiens are 8-3-2 at home.
The other game in the NHL tonight is in Calgary where the Flames host the Red Wings.
The lines are from LVH as of about 8:00 a.m. PT
