Get ready for hump day, basketball-style. There's another big slate in college basketball tonight and that means ton of great betting opportunities. When looking at the matchups, don't forget to include any injuries and suspensions. We've highlighted some of the top college hoops games tonight, in a compact betting primer.
Are you ready to win tonight?
Kansas Jayhawks (21-4 SU, 11-13 ATS) at Oklahoma State Cowboys (19-5 SU, 12-10-1 ATS)
Last game (2/2/13) Oklahoma State (+9.5) over KANSAS, 85-80. This is a revenge game for Kansas who was shocked at home 2 1/2 weeks ago. Kansas is in but they are looking for a number two seed. They have won two straight after losing three straight. Oklahoma State has won seven straight games and is really close to making the tournament. A win at home against the Jayhawks would lock it up. Oklahoma State is 42-20-3 ATS last 65 home games. College Basketball Line: Kansas is a 1-point favorite. Total: 135.5.
Minnesota Golden Gophers (18-8 SU, 13-10-1 ATS) at Ohio State Buckeyes (18-7 SU, 12-10-1 ATS)
Last game: (2/14/12) Ohio State (-8.5) over MINNESOTA, 78-68. Minnesota just doesn't like making things easy on themselves. Even though they have a very high RPI, they haven't quite locked up a NCAA Tournament spot as they've lost three of their last four and is just 6-7 in the Big Ten. A win over Wisconsin in overtime was followed by a 21-point loss at Iowa on Sunday. Ohio State is coming off a 21-point road loss at Wisconsin and they are on the bubble at 8-5 in the Big 10. Favorite is 11-1 ATS last 12 in series. College Basketball Odds: Ohio State is a 5-point favorite. Total: 126.
Colorado State Rams (21-4 SU, 11-9-1 ATS) at UNLV Rebels (19-7 SU, 9-16 ATS)
Last game: (1/19/13) COLORADO STATE (-4) over Unlv. This is a gigantic game in the Mountain West Conference. Colorado State defeated UNLV in January and the Rebels need this game desperately. The Rams have won six straight and are the hottest team in the league, coming off a 89-86 win over Air Force on the road. UNLV has lost three of five games, but did beat San Diego State at home, 72-70 on Saturday, as a 4-point betting favorite. UNLV is 9-2 ATS last 11 at home in series. Hoops Odds: UNLV is a 3.5-point favorite. Total: 140.5.
