Philadelphia 76ers at San Antonio Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs having it's seven-game winning streak snapped Thursday night falling 100-83 to the Knicks will be out to make amends when they host Philadelphia Sixers Saturday at the AT&T Center in San Antonio. Not a spot to fade San Antonio. The Spurs don't take losing lightly. Spurs are on an 11-3 SU, 12-2 ATS stretch following a loss as a favorite including a profitable 8-1 ATS (9-0 SU) on home court. Spurs are 8-2-1 ATS (10-1 SU) last eleven following a loss by => 15 points. If that were not enough, Spurs despite Thursday's defeat remain a powerful 12-2 SU/ATS this season vs non-conference opponents. As for Philadelphia, they're heading to San Antonio without rest a situation that has seen the team post a 2-7 ATS skid and to top it off they're playing in what has been a house-of-horrors as they're just 1-17 (8-9-1 ATS) last eighteen in Spurs back yard.

Warriors at Clippers: What Bettors Need to Know
By Covers.com

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers (-5.5, 201.5)

The Golden State Warriors have been hanging around just below the Los Angeles Clippers in the Pacific Division for the last month. After trouncing the Clippers at home on Wednesday, the Warriors will be looking to make another statement when they visit Los Angeles on Saturday. The Clippers ended their brief two-game slide with a win over the rival Lakers on Friday thanks to a huge game by Chris Paul.

Golden State has taken four straight games and is within three games of the Clippers for first place in the Western Conference. But Los Angeles recently ripped off a string of 17 straight wins and still sits just percentage points behind the Oklahoma City Thunder for the top spot in the West. Paul and Blake Griffin combined for 54 points in Friday’s win and are one of the few inside-outside duos capable of matching up with Stephen Curry and David Lee of the Warriors.

ABOUT THE WARRIORS (22-10): Golden State has had a nice long break since Wednesday, when it rolled to a 115-94 home win over the Clippers. Curry scored 25 of his 31 points in the first half and Lee took over after the break as the Warriors kept up the pressure. Golden State has taken both of the meetings with Los Angeles this season and has won seven of its last nine on the road. Lee is averaging a double-double at 20.2 points and 11.1 rebounds while Curry (20.4 points) and Klay Thompson (15.8) have taken turns getting hot from the outside. The Warriors are in the midst of a 12-game stretch in which they will play 11 potential playoff teams, including the Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder coming up over the next few weeks.

ABOUT THE CLIPPERS (26-8): Los Angeles had its 17-game winning streak snapped at Denver on Tuesday before falling at Golden State the following night. With a day to rest, the Clippers jumped out to a big lead and held off the Lakers down the stretch on Friday as Paul delivered 30 points and 13 assists. While the Clippers get plenty of highlights from alley-oops between Paul and Griffin, their success has come equally at the defensive end, where they held 14 of 17 under 100 points during their winning streak. Los Angeles shot just 36.3 percent at Golden State on Wednesday and gave up 53 rebounds to the Warriors.

TRENDS:

* Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.
* Clippers are 13-3 ATS in their last 16 home games.
* Warriors are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings.
* Over is 4-1 in Clippers’ last five overall.

BUZZER BEATERS:

1. Golden State has taken four of the last five in the series, including two of the last three at Staples Center.

2. Clippers F Caron Butler missed Wednesday’s meeting to attend to a personal matter but was back in the lineup on Friday.

3. Los Angeles G Jamal Crawford (left foot) sat out Friday’s game.
