OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (ATS Consultants) – Will the Oklahoma City Thunder rout the Brooklyn Nets when the two teams clash at 8:05PM ET?

GAME NOTES: Last game: Oklahoma City (-4) over BROOKLYN, 117-111. Oklahoma City (24-6 SU, 18-11-1 ATS, 16-14 O/U) has won three straight after suffering a rare two-game losing streak. They are back at home on Wednesday to face Brooklyn (16-15 SU, 13-16-2 ATS, 11-19-1 O/U), who is coming off a 104-73 road loss to the Spurs on Monday, getting 9. The Nets visit the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Wednesday to face the Thunder at 8pmET.

NBA FREE PICK: Take Oklahoma City. According to latest NBA trends, Nets are 4-12-1 ATS in their last 17 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game, 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a SU loss of more than 10 points, 3-13 ATS in their last 16 games overall, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. loss, 1-7 ATS in their last 8 Wednesday games and are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Western Conference. Oklahoma City is 6-2 ATS last 8 in series, Favorite is 13-4 ATS last 17 in series, 9-1 ATS in their last 10 vs. NBA Atlantic,  7-2 ATS in their last 9 games playing on 1 days rest,  22-7 ATS in their last 29 after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game and are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following an ATS win.

Brooklyn needs a win under interim coach P.J. Carlesimo. Is he staying for the long term or is he for the short term? After a 31-point loss in San Antonio, the Nets will try to bounce back at the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. The Thunder are the top scoring team in the NBA and have taken 12 straight at home, including an 18-point win over Phoenix on Monday. Oklahoma City has put up 116.3 points in three straight wins as Russell Westbrook has emerged from a shooting slump. In their last meeting,  they had little trouble on the road against the Nets on Dec. 4, hitting 21 of their first 30 shots and racing out to a 13-point lead at the half before settling for the six-point triumph. Oklahoma City shot 60.6 percent from the field and 30-of-34 from the free-throw line in that game. Kevin Durant has gone for 30 or more points in nine of the last 12 games and Westbrook has gone 18-for-38 (47 percent) from the floor over the last two games after shooting 31 percent in the previous three. The Thunder have taken seven straight in the all-time series.
