My Monday free pick is from a stellar matchup in the NBA. Both these teams are playing at the top of their games but I just have the gut feeling San Antonio, with one of the strongest home court bias figures in the NBA, will extract a bit of revenge for last meeting, November 7, in Los Angeles, in a game in which the Clippers won 106-84. Los Angeles comes into this game riding a 5-game winning streak and in those games has won by an average of 15.2 points. In its last game, at home this past Saturday, San Antonio buried Denver, 126-100, and was so far in front late was able to rest its two best players, Tim Duncan and Tony Parker, the fourth period. The situation puts San Antonio in the winner’s circle for this one.

Must give the Bobcats their due. After going 7-59 LY, they have won 3/4 to pull to .500. The maturation of Kemba, the addition of Kidd-G, and the breakout year for Sessions, have all made a positive impact. Yet the Bucks still have the better of it on the perimeter with Jennings and Ellis. They enter with nice momentum on a 3-0 streak. And must note they are 3-0 SUATS away, with every road win by 9+ points.

San Fran/ Chicago Under 34.5: Both starting QB's are out and two good defenses on the field. Any Questions which way i was going here? LOL The stars of this game will be the RB's and the defense, cause I just don't see these backup QB's being asked to win this game. Neither team are great passing teams as it is as the Bears average just 189 ypg (31st), while the Niners average just 196 ypg (28th). The Bears come in ranked 7th in rushing (127 ypg) , but the Niners are 8th vs the run allowing just 95.3 ypg (3.7 ypc). That should put the Bears into some long down situations and Jason Campbell is not the QB I want to get me out of those situations. On the other side we have a Niners squad that is 1st in Rushing (170 ypg) and you can bet that they will be more than happy to hand it off to Gore a ton of times and that will really eat some clock. Colin Kaepernick will also aid in the running game as he comes in with 177 yards rushing on the year and an 8.4 ypc average and i don't see Harbaugh asking him to pass much either. The Bears are 5th vs the run, but they do allow 4.2 ypc and that is another reason the Niners should keep this one on the ground. Look for allot of running and a ton of defense as this one stays in the 20's.

49ers -3.5 over Bears
I can’t believe we get a MNF Game that is going to be this boring. How can you predict this game? Either QB is capable of losing this game for their team. I do not think either is capable of winning the game. The Bears turn the ball over a lot and this is why I am taking the 49ers. San Francisco obviously has the advantage at home and their backup QB Colin Kaepernick is like having another running back. The 49ers have not forced turnovers like the Bears Defense has, but they are not turning the ball over on offense which is key. This Chicago team was 7-3 last year before Forte and Cutler got hurt. Without Cutler they do not win football games. I think the 49ers have better receivers that will help their backup QB make completions. Outside of the Bears starters they really are not stacked with guys who can catch the ball. You are going to see a vanilla type game tonight. Both teams are going to run and look to create turnovers. Neither team has played a tough schedule . The 49ers run the ball better than Chicago and at home has the advantage with the crowd noise. Really this game is a coin flip, but I think the 49ers do enough to get the win. Try to get this line at 3 if you can. Take San Francisco.
