PARTA, KY (TheSpread) – The 2012 NASACR Sprint Cup Series goes under the lights this week as the drivers compete in the Quaker State 400 on Saturday night.

This is just the second running of this race. According to oddsmakers Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win the race this week, as he has odds of 5/1 to win. Other short odds for this race are Kyle Busch (7/1), Greg Biffle (8/1), Matt Kenseth (8/1), and Tony Stewart (8/1).

Johnson is fourth in the current points standings, 25 points behind Kenseth for first. Johnson has two wins and a series-high nine top 5’s this year. Johnson took third in last year’s race.

Kyle Busch is 12th in the point standings. He is 137 points out of first. Busch has one win and five top 5’s this year. Busch was the winner of this race in its first year.

Biffle is second in the point standings. He is 11 points out of first. Biffle has one win and eight top 5’s this year. Biffle came in 21st place in last year’s race.

Kenseth is leading the point standings with one win and 11 top 5’s. News came out Tuesday that Kenseth is leaving his current team at the end of the year, which could be a distraction for this race. Kenseth finished sixth in last year’s race.
