The answer to those questions so very obvious. This country is a police state and fascism is rampant throughout all phases of our government. An independent commission will only bring a mockery upon itself by the national news media that is an arm for political propaganda. It will only be another waste of taxpayers dollars.
America could be decimated by an attack claiming most of our population and I still believe that our leaders would continue trying to sell their colonialist ideology on the rest of the world. While only the seemingly blind ultra conservatives of America are with them at this juncture.
Stupidity can be no better exemplified than by the people that accepted the official accounts of 9/11 and allowed it to supersede what we know as basic scientific principle, and disregard it as a half baked conspiracy theory. Shame on yourselves, your minds and your freedom is in the gutter.

I can't believe more people don't buy into your 9/11 conspiracy theory. It makes so much scientific sense 
Passenger carrying missiles disguised as airplanes that would "evaporate" into a fireball on impact because they are made from beer cans. Duh people.......it's so obvious
