SATURDAY NIGHT 'PRIME' TIME PLAY

SATURDAY NIGHT 'PRIME' TIME PLAY

Didn't get the cover last night with the Spartans, but still a cool 18-9 (67%) Last 27 Prime Time Football Releases!  I am getting this one!

Saturday Night 'Prime' Play = Ohio State +2.5

Home field advantage is everything in this game as the Bucks are now 7-0 SU against Penn State at home last 7.  Ohio State was highly criticized and written off after the USC loss.  This was for several reasons, the main one pointing to the huge letdown in the national championship last year to LSU.  The other were questions at the running back and quarterback positions.  Now, the Bucks are healthy and seem to have the QB situation finally figured out with Pryor fitting the bill so far.  Beanie Wells is back to his normal self as of late and at full strength coming into this game, which makes for a dangerous Buckeyes offense.

In that loss to USC, everyone points to that game as a measuring stick.  Note there were serious questions at QB and they had no running game without Beanie.  They left 3 scores in the red zone in the first quarter and allowed USC to build a dominant lead at the half. Coach Tressell has been questioned to winning the big game and this is his big chance to answer those critics tonight hosting a team he has beat many times before.

Note that both of the big game losses for Ohio State were on the road in tough environments at USC and at LSU for the title game last year.  This time, they get a chance to make a statement at home and the 12th man will be in full effect tonight at the shoe.  The Lions are just 1-4 ATS as the road favorite of 3 points or less and just 4-8 ATS as the road favorite.  They have feasted on lower quality teams as evidenced by their 5-9 ATS record against teams with a winning record.

Play the Buckeyes to atone in the national spotlight and answer their critics.  Buckeyes win outright!

Re: SATURDAY NIGHT 'PRIME' TIME PLAY

I am still looking at this one, I don't want to jump just yet wink  I have hit my last 4 MNF's, so I need to keep that streak alive.
