Is it me? or was that game strange last night.

Grant it, there were a few missed calls, but the Saints kick an onside kick when they have a lead and give up all that field position?, a FG kicker that gives up 10 points? They may put this on Gramatica, but this should fall on the coaching too. The Saints had all the momentem going into the 4th quarter, yet the officiating was terrible with missing facemask calls, overlooking most of what the Vikings did, offsetting the momentum, it was clear that the Vikings couldn't move the ball, so they made the pass interference call in the end that set up the Vikes for the win. Anyone who has played or wagered on football knows that in a close game, that a 15 yard penalty can and will change the outcome of a game. It does make you wonder, and they do this on National T.V.!

We saw a QB for Houston self-destruct in the last 4 minutes blowing a 17 point lead, but anytime you have Manning on the other side, you know what can happen. This was strange, but understandable.

I had the loser with NO but thought it was still a great game to watch.

Re: Is it me? or was that game strange last night.

Was it just me or did old Ed seem a bit nervous and shaky giving out penalty calls against New Orleans after that no call with the face mask that ended a TD drive for the Saints?  He was giving non-authoritative explanations for all the calls against the Saints.  I guess he didn;t want to piss anyone off, but he surely did lose respect points, if he had any left after the Broncos debacle.

But yes, to answer your question, weird game for sure, but fun to watch because of Reggie Bush finally paying off this season.  Too bad his return points didn't do anything for me in our fantasy football league.  Unfortunately, in leagues that don't count run backs, players like Bush, Sproles, and Hester have very little value, if any at all.  Although, Hester did get a TD this week, so that was good.
