Re: SATURDAY PREMIUM SERVICE PLAYS

NY REB

10* plays: 10-2

10* Ole Miss +24

I got this game Sunday night but had no intention of posting it this early until I saw that the line is going down. Now what do you think of this line going down, does that make sense to you? Florida just beat Tennessee by 24 in Knoxville, so why shouldn't they beat Ole Miss by 48 in Gainesville?

Because Florida beat Tennessee by 24 in Knoxville and Ole Miss lost at home to Vanderbilt.

Ironically, perhaps, both those events gives us great value in this spot, plus a fat cat Florida team fresh from the kill now facing a team they feel extremely unthreatened by and clearly superior to. Look for the Gators to be a bit flat and for the Rebels to be focused and fired up. This Florida team is one of the very best teams in college football, yet Ole Miss is not as far away as even their own fans believe, and will give the Gators all they can handle.

I know this play looks irrational to some. That is another reason I love it so much.

I also know I have used Ole Miss as a 10* play every week so far, and so far we are 2-1. I told you at the beginning that the Rebels will be point-spread-darlings this year, and look for that to continue Saturday against Florida.

7 UNIT SATURDAY SHOCKER!

Marshall @ West Virgina
Play: Marshall +15

In our 7 unit big play for Saturday we are taking Marshall +15. In a rainy day in Morgantwon expect the game to be played between the 30's. West Virgina's "spread" offense will not be able to get their offense going in the pouring down rain on Saturday. Take the Wisconson game out of the picture, then Marshall has only givin up an average of 125 yards on the ground. And with Pat White un-ableness to be a throwing quarterback, Marshall will stack the box making it hard to run. Take Marshall and the points in our 7 Unit play!!!

Re: SATURDAY PREMIUM SERVICE PLAYS

BIG Al

At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the South Florida Bulls minus the points over NC State. These two teams met in the Meineke Car Care Bowl on December 31, 2005. That was South Florida's first Bowl appearance, but it was not a memorable one, as NC State shut out South Florida 14-0. But the 13th-ranked Bulls have chosen not to forget that game, and have circled Saturday night's game on their calendar with the intent to payback the Wolfpack with a convincing victory. South Florida's task was made a bit easier when NC State's top offensive and defensive players were injured in the Wolfpack's 30-24 upset win last week over East Carolina. Starting LB Nate Irving sustained a lower leg injury, and will be replaced by freshman Dwayne Maddox, and NC State's starting QB, Russell Wilson, will be on the sidelines while Harrison Beck fills in for him. Although South Florida won last week to move its record to 4-0, it struggled, and barely beat Florida International 17-9 as a 29-point road favorite. Not surprisingly, the Bulls must have been looking past Florida International and ahead to this game, but that lackluster victory sets up our play here, as road teams, priced from PK to -10, are 18-0 ATS off a pointspread loss as a 14-point (or greater) road favorite, provided they scored 26 or less points in their previous game, and are now matched up against a .401 (or better) foe. Take South Florida. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my Big 10 Game of the Month or College Football Game of the Month on this Saturday.

At 8:10 pm, our selection is on the Illinois Illini plus the points over Penn State. A lot of people want to anoint the Nittany Lions as the best team in the land, and especially after Oregon State (one of the teams PSU throttled) defeated the then-No. 1-ranked USC Trojans. But it's dangerous to say, "Team A beat Team B, which beat Team C, and therefore Team A is ...." Indeed, using that logic, one would never have figured that Oregon State would have defeated Southern Cal to begin with, since Oregon State was defeated earlier this season by a very poor Stanford team. But Penn State may be the country's best team at season's end, though I believe Illinois will give the Nittany Lions a stern test in Happy Valley on Saturday night. The key to Illinois' chances, of course, rests on the very capable shoulders of QB Juice Williams. The Illini will rely a lot on the legs of Williams (who leads the team in rush attempts), and should have great success running between the tackles. Their offensive line is led by four-year starter Ryan McDonald, and he'll be able to open some holes while working against PSU's defensive tackles Jared Odrick and Ollie Ogbu. Besides QB Williams, RB Daniel Dufrene and FB Rahkeem Smith will get sizable yardage on Saturday night. So I look for the Illinois ground attack to shorten the game and keep the Illini well within the large pointspread. Finally, for technical support, I have a super 50-22 ATS system which plays against certain favorites off a double-digit ATS win (PSU is off a 42-point win over Temple as a 29.5-point fave, covering the spread by 12.5 points). Big 10 Game of the Month on Illinois. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my College Football Revenge Superplay or my College Football Game of the Month on Saturday.

At 9 pm, our selection is on the Oregon State Beavers plus the points over Southern Cal. Certainly, the Trojans have been the most impressive team in the country so far. USC went out east to Charlottesville, and crushed Virginia 52-7. Then the Trojans came back home and wiped out a very good Ohio State team 35-3. But this game will be a tough one for USC to cover, as Pete Carroll's crew might be caught looking ahead to home dates with Oregon and Arizona State over the following two weekends. Moreover, off its two super defensive outings, USC falls into a nasty 32% ATS system, which plays against favorites away from home which held each of their previous two foes to less than 10 points, provided they're matched up against an opponent which is off a SU/ATS win (Oregon State is off a 45-7 win over Hawaii as a 14-point favorite). And if our play-on team (here, Oregon State) covered by more than 19 points, then our system zooms to an awesome 21-2 ATS since November 1981. The Beavers won't be intimidated by USC's #1 ranking, as Oregon State upset the Trojans in 2006 when USC was ranked #3, and almost upset them in the "Fog Bowl" of 2004. This year, coach Mike Riley has changed-up his offense a bit, and is now incorporating a lot of short, quick passes to counterbalance blitzes from defensive linemen. Overall, Oregon State has covered three straight vs. USC in Corvallis, and I look for the Beavers to make it four in a row here. Thursday Night Game of the Month on Oregon State. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie.

At 7:45 pm, our selection is on the Alabama Crimson Tide + the points over Georgia. Last year, Georgia won 26-23 at Alabama, but this year's Crimson Tide squad is a far cry from the team that went 13-13 in the 2006 and 2007 seasons. This year, Alabama is off to a 4-0 start, and demolished Arkansas 49-14 on the road last week. Alabama also opened the 2008 season with an upset win against then-No. 9-ranked Clemson, so the Tide have jumped into the Top 10, while Georgia sits at #3 in the latest polls. Most impressive, of course, has been Alabama's defense. The Tide has surrendered just 9.2 points per game. And since 1998, College Football teams which give up 14.8 or less points are an eye-popping 26-1 ATS at Game 5 of the season forward, if they're off a win of 6+ points, covered the spread in their previous game, and they're now priced between +5.5 and +9 points. College Football Game of the Month on Alabama. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my Big 10 Game of the Month or my College Football Revenge Superplay out of an eye-popping system on this Saturday.

Re: SATURDAY PREMIUM SERVICE PLAYS

College Football
Iowa -8 over Northwestern
Northwestern will have Sutton in the lineup, but he is not 100%. Sutton is the heart and soul of that team that is not as good as their 4-0 record. Iowa lost a tough game last week to Pitt and will be looking to bounce back at home. Northwestern QB Bacher also have a few sprained fingers and will be playing through pain. Look for Iowa to stop the run and win at home.

Houston +10.5 over East Carolina
The public wants so bad for ECU to be a Cinderella team, but they are nothing more than an average team that played two fading programs the first week of the season. This ECU team almost lost to Tulane and they did lose to NC State last week. Houston has a great offense and I don't know if ECU can match their point total. Houston looked flat in the first half of last weeks game, but played a great second half and almost won. This team is finally getting back to normal after Hurricane Ike. Look for the Houston offense to click today. Take Houston.

Tennessee +7 over Auburn
This is the most bet on game of the day. The public money is all over Auburn and I can understand why after watching Tennessee lose to UCLA and get crushed by Florida. Tennessee played good defense in the Florida game, but shot themselves in the foot with turnovers. Its not that easy to take an Auburn team today. The public is betting against Tennessee and not on Auburn. This is one of those games where Tennessee rebounds and proves they still are a good program.

Bama/UGA Over 45

Did you know that the last 3 times that these 2 teams have played the games have gone over. I had to make a play on this game for several reasons. For one, I am going to be at this game in Athens in the student section. A buddy of mine who is in his fourth year of Medicine gets tickets there and I'm looking forward to wearing all black as the rest of the students will. Alas, I am a Tide fan so I will be cheering them on so hopefully I won't get killed. Nevertheless, while the whole world thinks that the defenses should shut each other down, they certainly haven't the last three times these two teams have played as it has gone over. Such is the case here, as I do not care about the ATS here, but I do think that both offenses will get it done as I have Bama scoring at least 20 points here and I have UGA winning this game late. Thus, I expect both teams to score in the high 20's here and consequently, with field goals late, or possibly overtime included this should be a 27-30 type of ballgame. Considering that is more than a double-digit cover given the current total as it sits, I will gladly take the over here. The over is 8-3 for the Bulldogs when they face competitive teams at home such as teams with a winning road record. Look for the same here as this game goes
