Re: NFL - Week 4 Trends

NFL Week Four: Five Stats You Need to Know

Heading into Week Four of the NFL please note these stats are definitely items to consider as you look at the deep NFL card. However, this does not mean these are “plays” in the true sense of the word. That said, the hope is that the ATS information below helps you as you “traverse” this week’s NFL card! As always, best of luck in all your sports gaming from Scott Rickenbach

1) Dallas Cowboys are just 1-5 in their last six home games against division foes. They also are just 3-7 in their last ten games when favored by more than a TD. Redskins finally have offense clicking and Dallas is in a tough spot after primetime wins over Philadelphia and Green Bay in back to back weeks!

2) Carolina Panthers are solid as a dog but it's a different story at home. The Panthers are 6-19 in their last 25 as a divisional home favorite. Sure the Falcons have benefited from facing a pair of weak teams in their two wins but winning breeds confidence and the Falcons are better than many people think.

3) Jacksonville Jaguars are just 5-13 as a home favorite versus a division opponent. The Texans lost by 19 last week but turnovers were to blame as, statistically, Houston played about even with Tennessee. The Texans are also catching the Jags off of a big road win at Indianapolis.

4) Buffalo Bills - What is the world coming to? The Bills are a huge road favorite at St Louis! We aren't likely to lay this many points on the road but do note that Buffalo is 5-2 in their last Z road games. Also, the Rams have lost five straight as a home dog!

5) San Diego Chargers - San Diego has only failed to cover three times in their last 12 divisional road games! The Raiders have lost the money 11 of their last 13 divisional home games. San Diego dominated the Jets even more than the final score showed. Also, the Raiders only lost by a single point at Buffalo but first downs were 25-10 in favor of the Bills. Yes, the Raiders still have issues and the Chargers are much better than their 1-2 record! They lost two games in very tough fashion!
