FRIDAY SERVICE PLAYS
Re: FRIDAY SERVICE PLAYS
Oakland Athletics vs. Chicago White Sox
Pick: Chicago White Sox : Southcoast Sports Fourth of July Barbecue Feast!!
Chicago's Mark Buehrle will be looking for win number 5 in a row on Friday night. The White Sox have won 4 of his last 5 starts and 4 in a row that Buehrle has started at home. Buehrle has been very impressive of late, giving up a total of 5 runs over his last 5 games. He also has held opponents to a 2.96 Era and .225 batting average in his home starts this season. Joe Blanton will be getting the start for the A's. Blanton has given up 19 hits and 16 earned runs over his last 3 games. The A's have lost 5 of his last 6 starts, and 3 in a row on the road. Things will not get any better today. The White Sox have won 8 of their last 10 games, and 9 of their last 10 at home. Oh,,,lets not forget that home plate umpire James Hoye is a homie umpire. The home team has won 8 of the last 10 games he has been behind the plate. Take the Chicago White Sox -154 for 3-Units! Thanks and Good Luck Slade Southcoast Sports
Cleveland Indians vs. Minnesota Twins
Pick: Minnesota Twins : Southcoast Sports American League Major Mismatch!
Minnesota will be going for their 3rd win in a row, and may very well get it over a struggling Cleveland squad that has now lost 5 straight. Minnesota's Livan Hernandez is looking more like the Hernandez of old. He has went at least 7 innings in 3 straight games, giving up a total of 6 earned runs over 21 innings pitched. The last time he faced Clevand he did struggle giving up 7 runs in only 3 innings of work. He will be opposed by Paul Byrd of the Indians, who struggled against the Twins the last time he faced them, giving up 5 runs in only 3 innings pitched. The Indians have not fared very well in Byrds starts, going 2-8 over the last 10 games that he started. Minnesota is 10-2 in their last 12 home games, and are hitting .337 and scoring 5.91 runs a game vs righties over their last 5 games. Cleveland is 1-8 in Byrds last 9 road games, and they are hitting .255 and scoring 3.65 runs a game vs righties over their last 5. Look for Hernandez to get revenge on a Cleveland team that totally embarrassed him the last time he faced them. Take the Minnesota Twins -129 for 3-Units! Thanks and Good Luck Slade Southcoast Sports
