Philadelphia at Washington -140, 5½

The Flyers have done an incredible job of shutting down Alexander Ovechkin in this series. The NHL’s leading scorer has been almost invisible thanks to the coverage of Philadelphia’s Jeff Carter’s and Kimmo Timmonen.  Ovechkin has been harassed and manhandled  every time he touches the puck, forcing the Capitals to find someone else to pull the trigger.

"They are playing well and not giving me any space to shoot the puck," said Ovechkin,

The Caps face elimination tonight, but they’ve been thoroughly outplayed by Philadelphia and that probably won’t change tonight.

Pick: Philadelphia

Montreal at Boston +110, 5

The Bruins got lucky on Wednesday when they caught the Habs napping in Game 5. Montreal had a comfortable 3-1 lead in the series and despite a raucous crowd in Molson Centre, Boston stole a 5-1 win on a rare bad night from rookie Carey Price.

Expect Price to come out focused and determined in this game. The goalie is only 20 years old, but he’s got the talent to become one of the all-time greats in the red, white and blue and his legend could start tonight if he shuts down the Bruins.

The last time the Canadiens played in Boston, there were plenty of Montreal fans in the Garden. They should get the same kind of support tonight and they will be more focused and prepared to close out the series.

Pick: Montreal
