My husband INSISTS we need this TV- what do you think?
My husband INSISTS we need this TV- what do you think?
So we're having a SB party... planning all along on getting a new TV. I wanted a TV in the 40" range up to like 47" max.
We finally agreed on a 46" Vizio at Costco for $1399... then we went to Costco to get it and lo and behold, he spies a GIANT 60" plasma Vizio on sale for $1999 and insists THAT is the one we need.
Now, I think he is being ridiculous. Sure, it's a nice TV, and our living room would theoretically not be too small for it, but doesn't that just look like we're trying WAY too hard to impress people? Or do you guys still think 60" can be impressive yet tasteful? haha.
I mean I know it's a great deal - 60" plasma for $2k is almost unheard of- but that's not really the point I'm trying to make. He just doesn't seem to get it.
What do you guys think?

go out and get a 52" sharp aquos. you clearly won't regret it as it is the BEST picture ever, EVER!

I like the Panasonics. I have two 20' LCD's in my basement on the sides of my poker table and they look killer
