New York, NY (Sports Network) - Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy was the lone unanimous first-team selection for the NBA's All-Rookie Team, announced by the league Tuesday.

Andrea Bargnani and Jorge Garbajosa of Toronto, Minnesota's Randy Foye, Rudy Gay of Memphis and Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge were also selected to the first team.

Roy won the NBA's Rookie of the Year in near-unanimous fashion after leading all first-year players with 16.8 points, 4.0 assists and 35.4 minutes in 57 games this past season. He earned first-place votes for the Rookie of the Year on all but one of the 128 ballots cast.

For the All-Rookie Team, Roy was selected for the first team by all 29 eligible coaches and earned 58 points in the balloting.

The league's 30 coaches could not vote for players on their own teams and were asked to select five players for the first and second teams, regardless of position. Two points were awarded for first-team votes and one for second-team votes.

Bargnani, the top pick of last year's NBA Draft, was selected as a first-team choice on 28 of the 29 ballots and notched 57 total points, while Foye was picked for the first team by 21 coaches and garnered 48 points. Gay notched 12 votes for the first team and total of 39 points, while Garbajosa and Aldridge tied for the final spot on the first team with 37 points each.

The second-team is headed by Utah's Paul Millsap, who finished one point shy of first-team status. Also on the second team: Adam Morrison and Walter Hermann of Charlotte, Chicago's Tyrus Thomas, Minnesota's Craig Smith, Boston's Rajon Rondo and New Jersey's Marcus Williams. Rondo, Hermann and Williams tied for the final spot on the second team.
