- Jochen Hecht, Sabres, scored two goals to help Buffalo eliminate the New York Rangers 5-4.

FOUR-MIDABLE

Buffalo used a four-goal second period to erased an early deficit and take a 5-4 victory Sunday over the New York Rangers in Game 6 of the conference semifinal series, advancing to the Eastern Conference final against Ottawa.

CODE RED

Detroit can eliminate San Jose in Game 6 at the Shark Tank on Monday night to advance to the Western Conference final. The Sharks have jumped to an early lead in four of the five games so far. But they''ve blown that lead three times.
