UFC 140 Betting Odds
TORONTO, Ontario (TheSpread) – The UFC Light Heavyweight Championship is one the line as part of the main event of UFC 140 on Saturday night. View Real-Time Sports Betting Odds UFC 140 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 9PM ET. Prelim fights will be available on Facebook and ION Television. The event takes place from the Air Canada Center in Toronto. The main event of UFC 140 has light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, defending his title against former champion, Lyoto Machida. Jones (14-1) enters the fight as the clear favorite, as he has a money line of -550 to win while Machida (17-2) has odds of +400. Jones has won his last five and his lone loss was by DQ due to an illegal elbow. Jones is very dynamic as his long reach and combination of muay thai and wrestling have stifled all his opponents. Jones has finished his last five opponents, including Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who he submitted in the fourth round of UFC 135. Machida has actually lost two of his last three, but he is coming off a KO of Randy Couture by crane kick at UFC 129 last April. Machida has an extensive karate style and has been tough for opponents to figure out as well. The key to this fight will be which fighter can dictate the style and pace. In the co-main event, heavyweights Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will meet in a rematch of a bout from UFC 92 in which Mir won by second round TKO. This bout took place back in 2008 and was the first time Nogueira was stopped in a fight in his career. Following the bout, Nogueira claimed he suffered from a staph infection. Still, Mir (15-5) comes into the fight as the favorite with odds of -260 while Nogueira (33-6-1) has a money line of +210. Mir has won his last two fights and is trying to stay in the mix in the heavyweight division. His improved striking over the years has made him a dangerous fighter. Big Nog is coming off a KO win over Brendan Schaub at UFC 134, which was his first win in two years. The submission specialist is also developing some good striking skills, but his bread and butter is on the ground. For the complete odds for the available fights of UFC 140, see below.
