Bisping vs. Miller Free Pick
Bisping (22-3) enters the fight as the favorite, with odds of -170 on Saturday. Miller (24-7) has a money line of +140 against Bisping. The fight will take place from the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada and air live on Spike TV at 8PM ET. Here is a breakdown of who to pick and why.
WHY PICK BISPING
The boxer from Britain has the edge in the striking game in this fight. Bisping likes to use his footwork to pick apart his opponents with his punching. He also has some respectable takedown defense, which will work well against Miller, who will look to get the fight to the ground. Bisping’s opponent is making his first appearance in the UFC since 2005, and has competed at all in over a year.
WHY PICK MILLER
Miller is the superior grappler in this fight as 14 of his wins have come by submission. He will have the clear edge if the fight gets to the ground. One advantage Miller has as well is the history of fighting 25 minutes in his career. This will be Bisping’s first chance to go more than 15 minutes and Miller has been very difficult to finish, which could test Bisping’s cardio. Miller should be able to stay fresh and active in this fight.
WHO TO PICK?
I actually am going to call for an upset in this one as I think the fight is going to go into deep waters, which will favor Miller. I see Miller being able to tire out Bisping in the early rounds, even if he loses on the scorecards, which will allow him to secure a submission win in the final round. Look for Bisping to lose via choke in the fifth.
