UFC 139 places from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The main card airs live on Pay-Per-View at 9PM ET. Here are three picks to consider for tonight’s card.

UFC Light Heavyweight Bout – Mauricio “Shogun” Rua (20-5) vs. Dan Henderson (28-8)

This is a battle of sluggers as both men like to throw the heavy strikes. Henderson has big power in his right hand while Rua has good power with his straight punches and also has devastating kicks. I think the difference in this fight could be the conditioning and wrestling of Henderson. Rua has struggled in fights that go past the first round in his UFC past and Henderson has the chin to take a few punches from Rua. I like Henderson to pull of a mild upset by unanimous decision. FREE PICK – Dan Henderson +115

UFC Middleweight Bout – Wanderlei Silva (33-11-1) vs. Cung Le (7-1)

This is also a fight of two exciting strikers with Le making his debut with the UFC. Le is a martial arts expert that has done a number of action films. He has very fast hands and feet and packs a lot of power with both. Silva is more of a wild swinger that can knock someone out with one punch if it lands. The problem is for Silva, his punches haven’t been landing much as of late. He also has shown a weak chin that seems to be getting weaker with each KO loss. I look for Le to finish Silva off with a big flurry late in the first round. FREE PICK – Cung Le -160

UFC Welterweight Bout – Rick Story (13-4) vs. Martin Kampmann (17-5)

In this contest I like Kampmann to pull off a mild upset. I think he has the better striking of the two, as he is much lighter on his feet and quicker with his hands. When it comes to grappling, he has faced off with some of the best and held his own, so I don’t see Story being able to overwhelm him and hold him down. I think Kampmann will control the fight with his boxing and takedown defense and earn a unanimous decision. FREE PICK – Martin Kampmann +110
