UFC 137 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 9PM ET. There will be prelim fights that will air live on Facebook beginning around 6PM ET. The event takes place from the Mandalay Bay Events Center.

The main event of Saturday’s card features former UFC champ, B.J. Penn, taking on the last Strikeforce champion, Nick Diaz, in a welterweight showdown as Diaz makes his return to the octagon. Penn (16-7-2) comes into the fight as the favorite, with a money line of -125 while Diaz (26-7-1) has odds of -105 to beat Penn. Diaz has won 10-straight fights and was the reigning Strikeforce Welterweight Champion before making the jump back to UFC. He was 6-4 in his previous UFC run, which ended back in 2006. Diaz has a great mix of boxing and jiu-jitsu, but struggles with wrestling. Penn is coming off a draw last February against Jon Fitch and he has just three wins since 2008. Penn still has very fast hands and also is a very solid ground fighter. His wrestling is stronger than Diaz, but he will have a much shorter reach than Diaz.

In the co-main event, heavyweights Matt Mitrione and Cheick Kongo face off in a battle to get inside the top 10 of the division. Mitrione (5-0) comes into the fight as the slight favorite, with a money line of -140. Kongo (26-6-2) has odds of +110. Mitrione is still young in his MMA career, but he has four of his five wins by knockout and his diverse striking and mobility have made him a real threat in the division. Mitrione has struggled with takedown defense, which could be a strategy for Kongo to use. Kongo has won two of his last three and not lost since 2009. He has big power in his hands, but is somewhat stiff with his movement. Kongo will need to be well-rounded in this fight to come out on top.
