UFC Fight Night 29 will take place from Jose Correa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with the main card bouts airing live on the new FOX Sports 1 at 7PM ET on Wednesday. All odds are according to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv.

UFC WELTERWEIGHT BOUT - Jake Shields (28-6-1) vs. Demian Maia (18-4)

This fight can go one of two ways. Since it features two of the best submission grapplers in the UFC, it can either be a tremendous battle on the ground, or it can be a horrendous standup battle. Let’s hope it takes to the ground and provides some entertainment, because both men are lacking in the striking game. In the end, look for Maia to earn the victory. He has flourished in this weight class and is fighting in his home country. I also believe his jiu-jitsu is a little bit better than Shields’. UFC FREE PICK – Demian Maia -285

UFC WELTERWEIGHT BOUTDong Hyun Kim (17-2-1) vs. Erick Silva (15-3)

Let’s take a risk on this one. Silva is an explosive striker with a lot of talent, but he doesn’t get pushed deep into fights much. This fight is also in Brazil, which should pump him up. However, Kim is very good at neutralizing fighters and keeps things simple. I think he will use his strength and size to grapple Silva to the ground and control him for three rounds. I like this upset to take place. UFC FREE PICK – Dong Hyun Kim +205
