UFC 119: Mir vs. CroCop takes place Saturday, September 25 from the Conseco Fieldhose in Indianapolis, Indiana and features a bout between two legendary heavyweights.

Mir vs. CroCop

The main event of Saturday’s card is a heavyweight contest between Frank Mir (13-5) and Mirko CroCop (27-7-2). Mir is the favorite for the bout, with a betting line of -250 while CroCop has a line of +180. Mir is coming off a loss to Shane Carwin at UFC 111 and has lost two of his last three. CroCop is coming off back-to-back wins, including a win over Pat Barry at UFC 115. CroCop is taking this fight on short notice as Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira was slated to take this fight originally, but has since pulled out due to injury. CroCop is also not 100 percent in this bout as he recently suffered an eye injury that is not considered severe, but he is going to fight anyway.

Light-Heavyweight Contenders Collide

The co-main event of Saturday’s card is a light-heavyweight contest between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (19-3) and Ryan Bader (11-0). Bader is considered the favorite in the fight with a betting line of -170 while Nogueira has a line of +140. Nogueira has won his last seven bouts, but not face a real elite list of fights during that time. Bader has not lost in his career, but also seeking his first major win after beating Keith Jardine by KO in round three at UFC 110. The winner in this fight will be among the top contenders in the division while the loser will have a long ways to get back into the hunt.
