TORONTO, Ontario (TheSpread) – An impromptu UFC Light Heavyweight Championship bout headlines UFC 152 on Saturday. Here is a look at the odds for the main card bouts.

UFC 152 will take place from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto with the main card bouts airing live on PPV at 10PM ET.

The main event of this card is for the light heavyweight title as Jon Jones (16-1) defends his title against former champion, Vitor Belfort (21-9). Jones was originally scheduled to face Dan Henderson back at UFC 151, but a knee injury forced the cancellation of the whole event. In searching for a new opponent for Jones, the only one to step up on short notice was Belfort, a current middleweight. Belfort once was a light heavyweight, but has fought at 185 pounds in his last four UFC fights. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Jones is the clear favorite to win this bout, as he has odds of -925 to win, while Belfort has been given a money line of +625. Belfort has quick hands and knockout power, but Jones has the size and length in this fight. Jones has easily disposed of his last three title challengers and is considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the sport.

The co-main event of Saturday’s card is a fight to crown the first ever UFC Flyweight Champion. This bout has Joseph Benavidez (16-2) taking on Demetrious Johnson (15-2-1). Both men failed in attempts to win gold at 135 pounds in the past and now are the top of the heap of the new 125-pound division. According to oddsmakers, Benavidez is the favorite to win this bout, as he has odds of -280 to win, while Johnson has a money line of +220. Both men are extremely quick and use a good combination of wrestling and striking. The key to this fight will probably be which fighter is stronger in their grappling game. I don’t see a quick KO happening and I don’t see either fighter running out of gas, so it should be a competitive 25-minute bout.
