In another close contest, Henderson managed to get a split decision nod over Edgar, though many once again thought Edgar did more to win. Both men had high spots and neither seemed to be in control, but after 25 minutes, judges saw it 48-47 twice for Henderson and 49-46 once for Edgar.

In the co-main event, Donald Cerrone (19-4) had an impressive first round knockout of Melvin Guillard (30-11-2). The two lightweights came out swinging from the start as Guillard actually send Cerrone to the floor with his first punch, but Cerrone recovered and shortly thereafter, landed a big head kick to Guillard. Cerrone then followed with a right hand that put Guillard out and gave Cerrone the big victory. According to oddsmakers, Cerrone had odds of -300 to win this fight, which means a wager of $300 on Cerrone will payout an additional $100.
