UFC 147 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10PM ET. The event takes place from the Mineirhnho Gymnasium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Preliminary bouts will air live on FX at approximately 8PM ET. The main event is a catchweight rematch at 190 pounds between featured middleweights Rich Franklin (28-6) and Wanderlei Silva (34-11-1).

According to the oddsmakers, Franklin is the slight favorite to win this contest, as he has a money line of -185 to win, while Silva has been given odds of +155 to prevail. These two met three years ago with Franklin winning a three-round decision. This fight will be five rounds and Franklin is taking the bout on short notice, which is why it is being contested at 190 pounds instead of the normal 185 pounds. Franklin weighed in at 190 pounds on Friday while Silva tipped the scales at 188 pounds. The two had an intense stare down following the weigh in, with Silva getting the full support from his homeland fans in Brazil.

In the co-main event, heavyweights Fabricio Werdum (15-5-1) and Mike Russow (15-1) collide. According to oddsmakers, the Brazilian Werdum is the clear favorite, as he has odds of -500 to win, while Russow has been given odds of +350 to prevail. At Friday’s weigh ins, both fighters came in well under the 265 pound limit. Werdum weighed in at 246 pounds while Russow tipped the scales at 248. The two had a respectful stare down afterwards but Werdum, like Silva, had the full support of the crowd.
