UFC on FX 4 Odds
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (TheSpread) – Two top lightweights meet in the octagon in the main event of UFC on FX 4 Friday night. Here is a look at the odds for this main card.
UFC on FX 4 will take place from the Revel Casino with the main card bouts airing live on FX at 9PM ET.
The main event of Friday’s card is a clash between lightweights Gray Maynard (10-1-1) taking on Clay Guida (29-12). According to oddsmakers, Maynard is the favorite to win this fight, as he has a money line of -345 to win, while Guida has odds of +275. These guys have similar styles as both are primarily wrestlers. However, Maynard has some powerful striking and has a big size edge on Guida in terms of strength and reach. The one area Guida should have an edge is cardio, as this fight could go five rounds. Maynard was very close two winning the 155-pound title two times, but came up short. Guida is still looking to break into that elite class in the division.
The co-main event of the card is also a lightweight bout as Sam Stout (17-7-1) takes on Spencer Fisher (24-8). This is a rubber match between these two as each fighter earned a decision victory over the other through the years. According to oddsmakers, Stout is the favorite in this fight, as he has a money line of -305 to win, while Fisher comes in with odds of +245 to prevail. Fisher is winding down his career and is slowing up just a bit while Stout has been improving and is the better technical striker. This should be an exciting slugfest and the chance for a knockout is there if either guy lands cleanly.
