UFC 131 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air live on Pay-Per-View at 9PM ET while five preliminary bouts. Some of the prelims will air on SpikeTV and Facebook leading up to the start of the PPV event.
The main event is a clash between Shane Carwin and Junior dos Santos. According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Bodog dos Sanots is a slight favorite to win with odds of -165, while Carwin has odds of +135. Both men are big, powerful strikers with a number of quick KO wins to their credit. Don’t look for this fight to go 15 minutes.
The co-main event for Saturday’s card features the featherweight debut of Kenny Florian as he takes on Diego Nunes. Florian is one of the top lightweights in the world and now dropping down to 145 pounds. Nunes is on a nice winning streak and looking to prove that he is a legit championship contender. Florian comes into the fight as the favorite with odds of -275, while Nunes has odds of +200.
