Pascal vs. Hopkins Odds
This fight is a rematch from a draw that took place in December. Pascal is the champion coming into the contest.
Pascal enters the bout as the slight favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Bodog.com, as he has odds of -150 while the challenger, Hopkins, comes in with odds of +120. This fight will take place from the Bell Centre in Montreal and air on HBO at 9PM ET.
Pascal is 28 years of age and hails from Port-au Prince, Haiti. His current record stands at 26-1-1 with 16 wins coming by knockout. Pascal has not lost since a 2008 decision to Carl Froch but four of his last five fights have went to the judges. This will be the seventh-straight fight that Pascal has competed in Canada.
Hopkins is 46-years-old and not getting any younger, but he still holds a record of 51-5-2 with 34 knockouts, although his last knockout came back in 2004 against Oscar De La Hoya. Hopkins had won three-straight fights prior to the draw and has shown surprising skills despite his age. He has held the light heavyweight title before by beating Antonio Tarver back in 2006. Hopkins criticized the judging in the first fight, claiming that the Canadian judges were bias toward him, yet he has agreed to fight in Canada once against on Saturday.
