UFC 159 will take place from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ with the main card bouts airing live on PPV at 10PM ET. All odds are according to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv.

UFC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT - Jon Jones (17-1) vs. Chael Sonnen (27-12-1)

I just don’t see how Sonnen is going to win this bout. I don’t think his wrestling will be strong enough to handle a man of this size. Sonnen relies on being the bigger fighter to grind out wins in the middleweight division, but that advantage is lost at light heavyweight. Jones should be able to keep Jones at distance and I see him eventually finishing off Sonnen with a choke in the third round. UFC 159 FREE PICK – Jon Jones -950

UFC MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT - Alan Belcher (18-7) vs. Michael Bisping (23-5)

There is a lot of bad blood between these two and that should make for a good fight. When all is said and done, I see Bisping winning by decision. He has the big-fight experience factor over Belcher and seems to be the more technical striker. If the fight goes to the ground, I also see Bisping having the edge there. UFC 159 FREE PICK – Michael Bisping -170

UFC HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT – Roy Nelson (18-7) vs. Cheick Kongo (18-7-2)

Kongo is capable of winning this bout, but he has a very suspect chin. Nelson can really take a punch and he is a surprisingly good grappler. I think Nelson will eventually land one of his big right hands that will stun Kongo. From there, Nelson will come up with a flurry of strikes to finish the fight and get the TKO victory. Look for that to happen late in the first round. UFC 159 FREE PICK – Roy Nelson -235
