UFC 145 Weigh In Results
ATLANTA, GA (TheSpread) – The weigh-ins for UFC 145 have concluded and all the participating fighters were cleared for combat on Saturday.
UFC 145 takes place Saturday night and the main card will air live on PPV at 10PM ET. The event takes place from the Philips Arena in Atlanta. The main event is a battle for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship as Jon Jones (15-1) defends his title against former champion, Rashad Evans (17-1-1).
According to the oddsmakers, Jones is the clear favorite to win this contest, as he has a money line of -505 to prevail, while Evans comes in with odds of +405 to regain the championship. During Friday’s weight in, the champion came in at the 205-pound limit, while Evans weighed in at 204, 1 pound under the maximum. Following the weigh ins, the two had a nose-to-nose face off, where some head butting and trash talk took place.
In the co-main event, welterweight Rory MacDonald (12-1) takes on Che Mills (14-4). According to oddsmakers, MacDonald is the favorite to win, as he has a money line of -500, while Mills has odds of +400 to prevail. Mills tipped the scales at 170 pounds for their 170-pound bout, while MacDonald weighed in at 169.5 pounds. The two had stone faces as they squared off. Neither is known for being flashy, but they are both quite intense.
