The fight lasted just one round, but was packed with action. Carmouche (8-3), who was a massive underdog, managed to get the back of Rousey (7-0), nearly finishing her off with a rear-naked choke in the opening minutes. After escaping the danger, Rousey slowly worked her way toward another armbar victory, forcing Rousey to tap with just seconds left in the opening round. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Rousey had a money line -1100 to win, which means a wager of $1100 on Rousey will pay out an additional $100.

The co-main event of Saturday’s card saw Lyoto Machida (19-3) takes on Dan Henderson (29-9) by split decision. The fight was rather uneventful, as many Machida fights have been. However, Machida was able to control the fight in his style and land some big strikes with his feet and hands. Henderson did land a few shots, but not enough to win the bout on the judges’ scorecards. According to oddsmakers, Machida had a money line of -225 to win, which means a wager of $225 on him to win will pay out an additional $100.
