Ellenberger enters the fight as the favorite according to oddsmakers from online sportsbook Sportsbook.com with betting odds of –325 while Rocha comes in with odds of +250. UFC 126 takes place from the Mandalay Bay Events Center and will air live on Pay-Per-View at 10PM ET.

HOW ELLENBERGER WINS

Ellenberger (22-5) is a veteran fighter that likes to use wrestling and grappling to control his opponents. When on the ground Ellenberger uses good ground-and-pound with punches and elbows to defeat his opponents. Though not the flashiest fighter, Ellenberger is very skilled and dangerous and an ideal fight on Saturday will have him taking Rocha down and pounding out a decision or TKO stoppage.

HOW ROCHA WINS

Rocha (9-0) is a very dangerous submission fighter, who has won eight of his nine bouts by submission, with all but one win coming in the first round. Ideally, Rocha wants this fight on the ground, but it may be tough for him to get a win against Ellenberger, who manages to stay out of any submission danger while working from the top. Rocha needs to find a way to get Ellenberger on his back, where he can use his jiu-jitsu skills to lock up a submission.

WHO TO PICK?

I think this fight will be frustrating for Rocha, as he will likely be neutralized by Ellenberger’s wrestling and not be able to use his submission ability. This fight probably won’t be the most exciting for entertaining, but my pick is with Ellenberger to win by decision.
