UFC on FOX 6 Betting Odds
CHICAGO, IL (TheSpread) – The UFC Flyweight Championship is up for grabs in the main event of UFC on FOX 6. Here is a look at the odds for the main card of this event.
UFC on FOX 6 will take place from the United Center in Chicago, IL with the main card bouts airing live on FOX at 8PM ET.
The main event of Saturday’s card is a battle for the Flyweight Championship, as Demetrious Johnson (16-2-1) defends his title against John Dodson (14-5). According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the champion is the slight favorite to win this bout, as he has a money line of -240 to win, while Dodson has odds of +190 to prevail. Both men are extremely quick fighters that mix up striking with wrestling. This fight features two very similar fighters and the one that is able to either control the wrestling, or land the big punch, will likely win. This fight could easily go the full 25 minutes at a very fast pace.
The co-main event of the night is a light heavyweight battle between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (32-10) and Glover Teixeira (19-2). According to oddsmakers, Teixeira is the favorite to win, as he has odds of -315 to win this bout. Jackson comes in with a money line of +255. Jackson is fighting for the last time in the UFC. He has lost his last two bouts and is fighting a rising star in the division that has only had two UFC fights. Jackson has the experience in this bout, but he has struggled when fighting grapplers as of late. Jackson can win if he keeps the fight standing, but he may try to be overly aggressive in his final UFC bout.
