LAS VEGAS, NV (The Spread) – With teams already clinching playoff spots, Week 17 can be difficult to navigate for NFL bettors.
But fortunately for bettors, the Colts have decided to make it easy to determine whether or not they’re going to rest starters after already clinching a playoff spot. They’re not, according to coach Chuck Pagano, who stated Monday that the Colts will play their starters in Week 17 against the Titans.
Pagano noted that his team needs to build momentum heading into the postseason after the Colts were stomped 42-7 by the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday. Indy is locked into either the No. 3 or No. 4 seed in the AFC so a first-round bye is off the table but this is a team that looks shaky at the conclusion of the season. It makes sense that Pagano wants to see more out of his group before the calendar turns to January.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Colts are currently 7-point road favorites over the Titans for Sunday’s game while the over/under total is set at 46.
