PITTSBURGH, PA (The Spread) – What will Mike Tomlin’s punishment be for impeding the Ravens’ Jacoby Jones last Thursday night in Baltimore?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the odds that Tomlin will only be fined for the incident are 5/4. The odds for a suspension of at least one game are 6/1, while the odds for a fine and suspension of at least one game are 2/3. The odds for no fine or suspension are 15/2.
Will the NFL take away a draft pick from the Steelers as part of Tomlin’s punishment? The odds for are +200 and the odds against are -300.
On Tuesday Tomlin called his actions embarrassing and inexcusable, and he takes responsibility for his behavior in which he stepped in front of Jones while the Ravens’ receiver returned a punt on Thanksgiving night.
“I would never do such a thing,” Tomlin said about his narrow miss. “I would never consider doing such a thing…but it was a blunder nonetheless.”
