(The Spread) – The Rangers and Tigers pulled off a blockbuster trade earlier this week and their 2014 World Series odds have been impacted because of it.
On Tuesday the Rangers acquired Fielder and cash considerations from the Tigers in exchange for Kinsler. The move will force Miguel Cabrera back to first base and open up a spot for prospect Nick Castellanos, who should be ready to take over at third base for the Tigers next season.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Tigers’ World Series odds went from 9/1 down to 17/2 following the acquisition of Kinsler. The Rangers’ championship odds also climbed from 16/1 to 12/1 after acquiring Fielder.

For Kinsler, his over/under for batting average is .260 and his o/u for home runs is 15.5 now that he’s with the Tigers. His projected RBI total is sitting at 65.5 and his runs are set at 92.5.
