Prediction:
Expect nothing less than a shootout between two of the best offenses in college football. Tech has one of the most explosive offenses in the nation, led by Heisman quarterback Graham Harrell and wide receiver Michael Crabtree. But the Red Raiders also don’t play defense, which plays well into Colt McCoy and the Longhorns’ hands. McCoy has been nothing short of phenomenal this season and should pick apart a weak Tech defense. But will it be enough to out duel the Raiders’ potent offense? Texas has one of the most complete teams in the nation, but no defense has been able to thwart Tech’s dynamic attack. We like the home dogs in this situation and definitely suggest taking the over. We predict Texas Tech over Texas 45-41.
