(The Spread) – Week 2 of the NFL season starts tonight when the Packers host the Bears on Thursday Night Football and oddsmakers have released prop odds for this week’s action.
Who will be benched first (non-injury related): Miami rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, Cleveland’s Brandon Weeden or Seattle’s Russell Wilson? Wilson is the “favorite” at –125, which isn’t surprising considering free agent pickup Matt Flynn is his backup. Weeden has the next best odds at +125 (Colt McCoy is his backup) and Tannehill is +500 as Matt Moore is his backup.
Will Jim Harbaugh and Jim Schwartz shake hands or hug after the game on Sunday after they came to blows last year in Detroit? The odds are –400 on the money line for yes and +250 for no.
How many total interceptions and fumbles lost will Eagles’ quarterback Michael Vick have in Week 2? After throwing four interceptions last week oddsmakers have set his turnover total this week at just 0.5, with the over carrying odds of –230 and the under carrying odds of +190.
Finally, how many total rushing yards will Chris Johnson have after he was shut down on the ground last week? The over/under has been set at 62.5 for the Tennessee running back, with both the over and under carrying odds of –115 on the moneyline.
