(The Spread) – As we take a look at the latest 2014 NBA Championship odds, the Miami Heat remain favored over the field.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Heat as 19/10 favorites to win next year’s NBA Finals, while the Thunder have the next-best odds at 6/1. The Nets, meanwhile, are 10/1 to win next season’s NBA championship, as are the Bulls and Rockets, respectively. The Pacers, Clippers and Spurs are all 12/1, respectively.
Continuing with the current odds, the Warriors are 18/1 to win the 2014 NBA Championship while the Knicks are 22/1 and the Lakers and Grizzlies are both 33/1. There’s a steep drop off from there, as the Mavericks and Nuggets are both 50/1, respectively, and the Cavaliers are 66/1 long shots. The Pistons are also 75/1.
A slew of teams are currently 100/1 long shots to win next year’s NBA Finals, including the Hawks, Celtics, Timberwolves, Pelicans, Trailblazers and Wizards, while the Raptors and Jazz are both 150/1, respectively. The Kings are also 200/1 and the Bucks are 250/1 long shots to win the NBA championship in 2014. The 76ers and Suns are 300/1, respectively.
The current “no-way-in-hell” teams are the Bobcats and Magic, who are both 500/1 to win the 2014 NBA Championship. They have the worst odds of any of the 30 NBA teams.
