(The Spread) – Following the first week of the 2013 NFL preseason, the Broncos and 49ers remain co-favorites to win the 2014 Super Bowl.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Broncos and 49ers are both 6/1, respectively, to win the 2014 Super Bowl. The Patriots and Seahawks have the next-best odds at 9/1, while the Packers are 11/1 and the Falcons are 12/1. The Texans and Saints are both 18/1, respectively, while the Giants are 22/1 and the Ravens round out the rest of the top 10 at 25/1.
Continuing with the odds, the Bears and Cowboys are also both 25/1, respectively, while the Steelers are 28/1 to win the 2014 Super Bowl. The Bengals and Redskins are both 33/1, respectively, while the Colts, Dolphins, Vikings and Rams are all 40/1, respectively. A host of teams are 50/1 to win next year’s Super Bowl, including the Lions, Chiefs, Eagles, Chargers and Buccaneers.
The Broncos and 49ers also remain favored to win their respective conferences. Denver is 2/1 to win the AFC Conference title in 2013-14, while San Francisco is 4/1 to win the NFC championship. The Patriots at 4/1 and the Seahawks at 5/1 are the next-best in the NFC and AFC, while the Texans at 13/2 and the Packers at 11/2 have the third-best odds.
Speaking of New England, the Pats are -300 to win the AFC East Division while the Ravens are +200 to win the AFC North. The Texans are -250 money line favorites to win the AFC South, while the Broncos are -400 to win the AFC West. In the NFC< the Giants are +200 money line favorites to win the East, the Packers are -160 to win the North, the Falcons are +140 to win the South, and the Niners are -120 to win the NFC West.
